How I Trained My Humans
Humans think they train dogs. That’s adorable.
From day one, I observed my humans closely. Their habits. Their weaknesses. Their snack schedules!
I learned quickly what worked.
“If I wanted attention, I sat silently and stared”
“If I wanted food, I followed closely and looked hopeful”
“If I wanted to avoid trouble, I deployed the eyes”
-You know the ones, big, soft and innocent….. The kind that say, “I would never do such a thing.”
And it worked every time. I trained Ria to share snacks. I trained Aaryan to play rough when I demanded it. I trained Dad for walks, tug of war, and chill time exactly when I wanted them.
And you?
You were my masterpiece. I trained you to worry about me. To laugh even when you were tired. To forgive immediately. To love me without limits.
You thought you were in charge.
But really — I was just very small, very clever, and “your cutie pie”.
And that, as it turns out, is all the power one dog ever needs.
