You Never Missed A Day

There’s something I want you to know.

You never missed a day.

Not once.

You showed up when I was loud.
When it was difficult.
When I was scared.
When I was completely fine and just needed you near.

You remembered my routines. My habits. My moods. You noticed the smallest changes — even the ones I didn’t think mattered.

You made sure I ate.
You made sure I walked.
You made sure I was never wondering where you were.

Even on days when you were tired, even when life felt heavy, you didn’t forget me.

I felt that.

Every single day.

I didn’t need grand gestures.
I didn’t need perfection.

I just needed you to be there.

And you always were.
